Ty Segall melts faces at The Observatory, Santa Ana, CA

First band up, Business Cats from Azuza, CA.
I added these kids on soundcloud because I liked the rawness of their sound. I had no idea they were on this bill, so it was a real pleasant surprise! If these kids aren't going places, I don't know who is.

 

Next up to bat was Bleached from Los Angeles. You might recognize some of these girls from their former band Mika Miko. They totally killed, but once again I had no idea they were on the bill as well. I should probably start doing my homework on this stuff, but hey, I'm not getting paid for this.

Trip out... I found these dudes hanging around the bar minutes before their show. I had a quick chit chat with the bass player about how everything is working out on the road. He was rad enough to stick around until I got my beer. We had a toast, and he was off to shred and I was off to hang around a bunch of sweaty people. Cheers guys!!

10Fingers 11Toes would like to congratulate Monte United on a successful 2012 season.

Cup winners of the El Monte League!

Monte United was created on a dirty kitchen table in a house on Richwood Ave. El Monte, C.A. with the main objective to play the beautiful game in a 'Total Football' SGV approach. It took 6 years and many tears to get to this point but the boys made it happen.

Whatever happened to you??

Just wanna take a quick breather and let you all know that 10Fingers11Toes is growing and moving in multiple directions. It's crazy to think that this whole thing started less then a month ago and it's taken on it's own form. It's really exciting to think what's to come in the new year!

The Intelligence

Where to start? S.F. native band that keeps you on your toes wanting more. Always on the road and always recording. Had a chat with Mike the drummer on how he stays healthy constantly being on the road. He told me, eating Subway helps out a lot. That and watching the Raiders play. How does watching the Raiders play keep you healthy? Easy, he's a 49er's fan! Hahaha!
