Ty Segall melts faces at The Observatory, Santa Ana, CA

First band up, Business Cats from Azuza, CA.
I added these kids on soundcloud because I liked the rawness of their sound. I had no idea they were on this bill, so it was a real pleasant surprise! If these kids aren't going places, I don't know who is.

 

Next up to bat was Bleached from Los Angeles. You might recognize some of these girls from their former band Mika Miko. They totally killed, but once again I had no idea they were on the bill as well. I should probably start doing my homework on this stuff, but hey, I'm not getting paid for this.

Trip out... I found these dudes hanging around the bar minutes before their show. I had a quick chit chat with the bass player about how everything is working out on the road. He was rad enough to stick around until I got my beer. We had a toast, and he was off to shred and I was off to hang around a bunch of sweaty people. Cheers guys!!

SALT killing it at the Doll Hut tonight! 11/25

Yo L.A./O.C. check these dudes out from Colorado tonight! SALT. They're going to be killing it at the Doll Hut. Do you remember when it was called Linda's Doll Hut? I must be getting old.

I was able to get a quick interview out of them here in Denver before they split on tour. Super honest guys. Peep it amigos!

Came across this on my walk back to my buddy's apartment and it reminded me of my friend's band in Los Angeles called the Zig Zags. Peep these dudes, their hot! I did my own personal music video of their jam Turbo Hit about a month ago. Check it out!

Alive in Denver...

Had a chat with the dudes of Salt after their show and they were able to arrange a small jam session for me that I could shoot and share with you all. (shot this footage in a small garage in Denver) This is what life is about. This is really happening...

Better Then Pizza... Salt.

Took a walk with an old friend to grab some pizza on Broadway the other night and came across a bar that was having a few local punk bands perform. We kept our dinner date short and strolled back to grab a few beers with some of the locals and check out to see what was about to go down. We were not disappointed...
